Contract production for the chemical industry

When it comes to contract production, it’s all about trust. With us, your formula is 100% protected, guaranteed. We offer flexibility in production and work in line with your needs to produce small sample batches and large production batches. Our product range includes both solids and liquids (mixed and reaction products). We use various reactors for this purpose, from 5 kg to 1,000 kg, each equipped with pressure jackets or dissolvers and operated cooled if needed. And we don’t shy away from manual procedures too if your product requires a certain degree of precision. All production processes are subject to a strict quality management system. Chemos GmbH & Co. KG has been ISO 9001-certified since 2015. At your request, our in-house analytics team can also take care of the testing process for you.

 

Packaging/bottling

Contract bottling is one of our strengths, especially in liquid and solid form. By using peristaltic pumps, your medium only comes into contact with the tube to prevent cross-contamination by passing through the motor, as is often the case with conventional pumps. To do so, we use our advanced powder filling machine which allows us to semi-automatically bottle even bulk materials, such as powders or granulate matter, into packaging of your choice in sizes from 5 g to 25 kg. If necessary, this process can be performed under inert gas such as argon or nitrogen.

 

Our service boasts maximum flexibility for quantities, shapes and sizes. We fill into all common packaging. If you have special requirements, however, just get in touch and we’ll be happy to provide you with a custom offer.

Our production area was completed in January 2020. We now have the following equipment at our disposal:

  • Central air exhaust and recirculation system under excess pressure to avoid contamination through dust
  • Fully conductive flooring (ESD)
  • Biometric access control
  • Inert gas (nitrogen and argon)
  • Laminar flow class ISO 5
  • Various reactors up to 1,000 l in volume for pharmaceuticals and food
  • Semi-automatic bottling systems for liquids and solids from 0 g/ml to 25 kg/l
  • Peristaltic pumps
  • Hazardous substance warehouse and storage at temperatures as low as –80 °C possible

 

Shipping

We also take care of the correct labelling in accordance with the CLP hazardous substance legislation, interim storage (in our modern hazardous substance warehouse if necessary), and packaging of the products that we have manufactured for you, as well as shipping to your end customers. We ensure compliance with statutory provisions relating to storage (TRGS 510) and transport (ADR, IATA etc.) at all times. Each shipment also includes a safety data sheet (MSDS).
